Marzio Cecchi

Marzio Cecchi was born in Florence in 1940 and graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence. His professional career began at the age of eighteen, but developed primarily in the 1960s and 1970s, a period of revolution for Italian design. During an intense and successful career, the author collected works in many cities of Tuscany, but also Milan, Paris, Cannes, Johannesburg, New York. Cecchi died prematurely in 1990, leaving an artistic legacy characterized by a remarkable ability to anticipate trends that would become popular in more recent years. Cecchi’s style is a fusion of modernism and Italian tradition, with a strong attention to detail and quality materials. His work is often described as eclectic, combining contrasting elements in unique harmony.
