  • The festivities continue for the fiftieth anniversary of the BOCCA® sofa, the pop and radical icon by Gufram: its sensual forms become protagonists of a performance that combines music, song, theater, and dance. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the BOCCA® sofa, the original LIPS® sofa designed by Studio65 in 1970, Gufram celebrates one of the symbols of Radical Design with a special project that sees this emblem of sensuality as its protagonist: a live performance - conceived and directed by director Fabio Cherstich, among the most interesting figures in the landscape of contemporary theater – took place yesterday, October 15th at Dilmos gallery in Milan.

The spaces of Dilmos, a point of reference in Milan for devotees and collectors of Gufram, have been transformed into a stage for Elena Rivoltini – actress, opera singer, and performer – the protagonist of an artistic action in which music, song, theater, and dance have come together celebrating BOCCA® as the symbol of the human body, its voluptuous meaning, its revolutionary approach.
The performance involved the multi-talented artist in a “duet” with the sinuous, soft, and enveloping shapes of the new BOCCA® Unlimited, open edition of the sofa, presented in 25 new colors: the always current contemporaneousness of this disruptive project blends with the baroque classical repertory and a cappella melodies sung by Elena Rivoltini that indeed evoke mouths, kisses, and lips.
