Gufram is proud to be part of the exhibition "DISCO: I'm coming out" at Wereldmuseum, in Amsterdam. At its origin, disco music celebrated emancipation from morals and the liberation of bodies: a perfect "match" with the principles of Radical Design. With the aim of exploring the cultural importance of disco music, this exhibition also includes BOCCADORO and CAPITELLO by Studio 65.
After its first stop in Paris, the exhibition "DISCO: I'm coming out" moves on to Amsterdam. A collection of audiovisual materials, photographs, instruments, and costumes highlights the political and celebratory dimensions of disco music—a genre that brought together diverse minorities and social classes on the dance floor, united by a shared hedonistic spirit.
